Bear 1990 - 2004

Bear was one of our first Labradors and not my first choice but he soon made it apparent that I was his!  I picked a beautiful male puppy from a litter and paid my deposit.  That puppy and two of his littermates were stolen a few days later.  I went back to see if I liked any of the other pups when this little runt of a pup sat on my foot and looked up at me as if to say, "don't even think of leaving without me!"  I didn't and he remained my constant companion for 14 years.  He is missed daily.

Dream 1998 - 2001

Dream was a terror from the time we brought her home!  She was the typical lab puppy and into everything all the time.  She was a dream to train and an incredibly loving soul.  She left way to early but showed her true strength right up to the end!
Suki 1998 - 2007

Suki had a piece of my heart from the moment I saw him.  He had this grace and presence about him that was a sight to behold.  While aloof with strangers, he was a very loving boy with his family.  He, along with his companion Raja, were the farm guards and we had no worries about intruders while they were on guard.  Raja is still with us but she misses Suki as much as we do.  She has been retired from guarding since Suki passed, but she still monitors the property when she is outside.
Ginger 1995 - 2003

Ginger was a chocolate labrador that we took in when her owners could no longer care for her.  She was an incredible addition to our family and came to love us as much as we loved her.  Due to her distinctive bark, our then 2 year old son called her "ah-hoo".  She is remembered with Love.
Shiloh 1997 - 2008

Shiloh was a very special dog and out of our very first litter.  He suffered lingering repercussions from a bout of Parvo when the family that originally purchased him failed to continue the puppy shot regimen we started.  After a very dedicated vet and his wonderful staff saved his life, even after he lapsed into a coma, he was returned to us.  He didn't stay with us for long when some dear friends met him and decided that they wanted to add him to their family.  Even with the side effects from the Parvo, he lived a wonderfully full life and brought immense joy to his family and those that knew him.  He is missed greatly.

Fire  5/2005 - 10/2005

Fire was only with us for a very short time but she made and impact on our lives that will affect us for the rest of our lives.  One night while Tony was traveling someone tried to get onto our property.  Suki and Raja chased them off but they left the gate open slightly.  The next morning I let Fire out to go to the bathroom and ran back inside not thinking to check the gate.  The road we live on is very lightly traveled, especially early on a Sunday morning.  That morning there was a truck coming down the road and as I went outside and noticed Fire had gone through the gate, it was too late to do anything about anything.  She was a phenomonal puppy and we are devastated that we won't get to watch her blossom into the dog she was destined to become.

Annie 6/26/1996 - 3/2010

Annie was a huge part of our lives and taught us a lot about behavior modification, canine body language and dog training.  She was Tony's first labrador and their bond was amazing to watch.  She was our first chocolate labrador and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Princess 6/8/2000 - 2/2011

Princess came to us by accident.  Her owners were unable to care for her and she came into our lives and established herself as a beloved member of our family.  She blessed us with several healthy litters and taught us more about whelping and raising pups then any book we could ever read or class we could ever take.  She will be forever missed!
Raja 9/28/98 - 7/2011

Even though she wasn't a labrador, she sure stole our hearts from the moment we saw the little fuzzy puppy that would teach us more about training in a real setting then any other dog ever did!  She was definitely a handful but loved people like nothing I've ever seen from a "big scary dog" like her.  She would try anything you asked her to do and usually succeeded.  We lost Raja just a couple months shy of her 13th birthday even though we were afraid she would leave us sooner to be with Suki, her partner in crime.  They are together again causing trouble we have no doubt, as they wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge.
